Its’ time to celebrate the king of fruits. Witness the three days fiesta where the ever favourite fruit of India becomes the focal point for a celebration unlike any. Experience the colours, music, dance, exciting competitions and above all thousands of mango varieties which are geared up to enthrall you at the 32nd edition of the Mango Mela.
The 32ndMango Mela is being organized by Haryana Tourism jointly with the Horticulture Department, Haryana in July, 2025 at Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore on a grand scale. The Mela celebrates the king fruits -Mango and its various varieties.
Like every year this year too promises to be a fun-filled fiesta where people of all ages come to have a gala time. Visitors will be treated with interesting and unique competitions especially for school students who participate in large numbers, enthralling cultural performances, a Crafts Bazaar and a multi-cuisine Food Court. All such buzz and activity makes the Mela a treat for all age groups.
Various activities, competitions and evening cultural programmes will mark the 32ndedition of the Mela.
On the First day of the Mango Mela the receipt of entries of Mangoes & Mango products will start from 7.00 a.m. onwards. Exciting Competitions are lined up for students like Rangoli, Extempore, Face Painting, poster making and Mango Eating (open for all) and mango quiz. The competitions will begin from 10.00 a.m. onwards. Further adding to the charm of the Mela will be the enthralling performances of Day performers & Cultural artistes.
The Second day of the Mela will unfold new set of activities- competitions for students like Group dances Short Story writing, Slogan, Nail Art, Hand writing and Drawing competitions. Mango Eating and mango quiz (open for all) competitions will be organized and is one of the highlights of the festival. Visitors will also be treated to exotic delicacies from across the states of India
The Third day of the Mela will witness competitions like group singing, drawing, Best Out of Waste Competition, Mehndi Competition along with Mango Eating and mango quiz (open for all) competitions
Scintillating evening cultural programmes will begin from 6.30 pm onwards on all Three days of the mela. Renowned artists will present scintillating performances.
The Mango Mela offers an ideal platform to the mango growers to display and sell their mangoes and mango products. Prominent commercial mango varieties that will compete at the Mela include Dasheri, Chausa, Langra, Amarpali, Bombay Green (Malda), Ratol, Malika, Ramkela (a pickle variety), etc. Over 3,000 entries of different mango varieties are likely to be received from mango growers in the Mango Mela this year.
