Ritu is a
postgraduate from National Institute of Design in Textile Design
and a Graduate from Baroda University in Clothing and Textiles.
Ritu’s creations for the Surajkund Design Galleries cover fashion
and interiors. She offers a wide range of ‘kurtis’ in casual and
formal wear; ‘sarees’ in exclusively designed prints, embroideries
and weaves. In interiors, bed and table lines have been made by
artisans from Bhubaneshwar, walls hangings, placemats and runners
in silk by the artisans and carpet weavers of Srinagar. Ritu works
with Design Houses in India and London, with the artisans in
Kashmir, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka,
Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and with UNDP / Ministry of
Textile projects. |
