A NIFT graduate and a proud protégé of Master Embroiderer Francois Lesage, Ritu launched her label in 1990 and since then has been scaling new heights, both at home and internationally with amazing regularity. Ritu is the first Indian Designer to present in Paris and successfully launch her first Luxe Collection in Paris in 1998, after highly commendable showings in Beijing, New York, Mauritius, Washington, Morocco, Russia, Nairobi, Cairo and others. Ritu has had the privilege of designing the trousseau for the Princess of Riyadh and can boast of a clientele that includes former US President Bill Clinton, Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman and Andy McDowell, supermodel Laetitia Casta, Langes Swarovkski and the Swarovski family, Elizabeth Jagger and Jerry Hall to Bollywood stars Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta. Success, awards, acclaims, distinctions and media recognition have been punctuating Ritu's trail blazing career.
