The Haryana Tourism owned and operated golf
course derives its nomenclature from the Aravallis- a lofty
mountain range running across the state of Haryana. It is
unique geological feature, the antiquity of which adds to its
magnificence.
Set up in the year 1966, it was the first golf
green to be set up in Faridabad, Haryana. The building was
designed by the famous architect Joseph Allan Stein and the
course design was then laid by famous Stephan Kay, the famous
Golf Architect from the U.S.A. The Golf course was taken up by
Haryana Tourism in the year 1988 and re-designed by Stephan
Kay, a renowned golf architect from USA. Now the course is
spread over 75 acres and has a 12 holes facility.
In the Golf Course there is a provision for
billiards, 6 luxurious rooms and a committee room have been
added for the Golf lovers. The keen golfers can make a night
stay here at the lush green course about 30 km from Delhi and
tee off early in the morning. |
